Welcome to the 2024 USA Powerlifting WA State High School Showdown, exclusively for high school students! Join us for a thrilling showcase of strength and skill as high school athletes from across Washington State gather to compete in the ultimate powerlifting showdown.
## Event Details:
– **Cost:** Full Power Entry (Squat, Bench, and Deadlift) is $100 per athlete.
– **Eligibility:** This meet is exclusively for current high school students who have not yet graduated and are entering the 2024-2025 school year.
– You must be a USA Powerlifting Member to compete in this event. If you sign up for the event but do not sign up for a USAPL membership, you will not be able to compete on meet day.
– **Date and Venue:**
– Date: August 17, 2024
– Venue: Spanaway Fitness Center, 13819 Pacific Ave S, Tacoma, WA.
– **Competition Categories:** Full Power (Squat, Bench, and Deadlift).
– **Registration:** High school students interested in competing must register before the July 31st, 2024 deadline.
– **Spectator Admission:** Friends, family, coaches, and supporters are welcome!
– Admission: $10 for all. Under 12 is free.
– **Awards:** Trophies and recognition await the top performers in each weight class and division. Don’t miss your chance to claim victory and showcase your skills!
– **Drug-Free Competition:** Upholding the values of integrity and fair play, all participants must adhere to drug-free competition standards. 10% of competitors will be drug tested for PEDs.
